I want to continue using my computer since I have so many acquaintances to keep up with. I am on a fixed budget and I want to know which Internet is the best and cheapest. But it must be good quality even if it’s cheap!
Gracious, there are so many choices. I have asked some of the youngsters in the neighborhood for their recommendations. I have heard about Google (funny name), AOL, Surfside, Micro Soft, Apple, and Dell. Which of these are best? Do any offer AARP discounts?

It depends on where you are located. I use COX high speed internet and pay about 24 dollars a month. Internet is fast, though it could be faster. Gets things done quickly nonetheless. Google is a search engine, not an ISP (Internet Service Provider), AOL uses dial-up.. you don’t want that… it is very cheap, but it also is very slow. Never heard of Surfside. Microsoft is a hardware/software company, Apple is another like Microsoft, and Dell sells computers amongst other things. If you give us your location we can help you out a bit more. When you do find an ISP though, ask them if they have any discounts regarding AARP.
