Dear all,
I have recently moved in London, so I am not very familiar with the local telecomms and their packages. I have a laptop and the new iPhone 3G purchased unlocked from an other EU country. Which is the current best Wireless Internet package? Also, is it possible to tether the phone with my laptop (it’s a PowerBook G4), in order to use a possible mobile broadband package? If this isn’t possible, any good bundle of mobile internet and unlimited hotspot offer?

i used to pay $100 for cingular wireless for my laptop..but it got to be too much..its almost a year later and im hoping prices have come down/..any recommendations?

I have a laptop and am in the army. I am stationed at ft. gordon. The problem with that is everyone on post uses alltel wireless internet because they are the only cell phone company store on base. So alltel is always boged down and slow. I need a much faster wireless internet provider for my laptop who also has decent prices.
Verizon (just merged with alltel), cinguler, AT&T, sprint, and others is what i was thinking about. thanks for the help.

Because I just learned about Skype and how you can connect with anyone in the world and talk for free by talking to someone, through the internet, be it on your computer or Wi-Fi or wireless mobile internet, that also has Skype. Why else would anyone want to buy expensive cell phone plans if only everyone knew about this wonderful service. My question is can I get a wireless internet plan by itself from a company so I can talk to someone else using Skype?
