Our family is switching from Comcast to AT&T U-Verse and we’re not sure what kind of internet speed we need. We want sometime around the same speed as Comcast, maybe a little faster. AT&T U-verse offers speeds from 1.5, 3.0, 6.0, 10.0, and 18.0 mbps. What is the best speed for our family?

I am considering the purchase of a home in a relatively remote location. I must have internet access.
No “normal” type carrier offers service in the area. Also, cell phone service is limited there, so, I cannot hook up my pc with such technology that would enable this type of approach (for example, Verizon [...]

I am paying $140 a month for high speed internet, cable and home phone service w/ free nationwide long distance. I need the internet though because I work from home, but I’m like to eliminate and reduce my monthly expenses and was wondering if there’s something cheap and fast out there.
